Click on a search result and nothing displays. Just a blank white screen. This app used to be fantastic and now it’s useless. What are people using for a Korean-English dictionary instead?

see, i want to learn korean again because of my friends, i actually like this dictionary but it’s getting annoying with the constant ads, it’s supposed to be an OFFLINE, meaning no internet required either, but as soon as i go into airplane mode and search, it tells me to turn my connection back on. don’t get me started with this thing asking for a YEARLY or MONTHLY sub just to remove ads. bruh it’s free on android but gotta pay on iphone. make it make sense.

As title stated, after updated , it doesn’t show English dictionary meaning for word search

I do not understand how this app has good reviews. I could never use it bc there where ads everywhere. Before your search a word and after and if you toggle anywhere you get a full screen ad. I get they gotta make money but this is excessive. Literally to the point where I’m about to build my own translation app no lie.

Overall confusing to navigate, intrusive ads, and poorly designed. Pushes premium content without doing even the bare minimum for free content. Wouldn’t recommend.

I have used it for one year almost everyday and I have never been happy with it. They don't have big archive of words a I should open another dictionary app to find the definition. Also they just put so much function and it is not user friendly. I regret to purchase it.

Some words are not on the list and some even on the list, it doesn’t have the translations. Make you wonder what kind of dictionary is this.

I purchased the premium because I wanted the added urban dictionary. I was looking up a word and wanted to know the slang. So I bought it, and the urban dictionary option disappeared. I have looked up KNOWN slang words, like 씹다, and there is no urban dictionary. Why did I just spend money for something that I’m not getting??

Very helpful and great dictionary I love using it every time

This app offers a wide variety of dictionaries that should suffice for most purposes for rendering English words in Korean and Korean words in English. However it lacks one very important feature of similar programs: you cannot export a word list that includes definitions. By default, word lists include only the head words, and in order to include a definition, it is necessary to explicitly add it as a note. It would be highly desirable to add the ability to add a word to a list together with a selected definition, so that both can be exported together.

This app is a good app but for some reason my search doesn’t work it keeps on doing 잇ㅅ instead of 있 so I hav to keep fixing it and it is frustrating but I am giving credit only one less star because this is still a good app just a few more bugs to fix. :)

It’s a great dictionary.

I purchased this app for ad free and it said other extra dictionaries will be added. This paid app works for only one devise and when I upgrade my ipad mini ads are popping up each time when I open this app. I paid money for nothing! Otherwise this app helps me to study English.

It was a good boy

I’m a hardcore app user of yours and copy to search function saved a lot of time of mine. But there are some issues - needs dark mode so that I can use it in night without eye strain - vocabulary star button needs additional click. It is such an unnecessary hassle. We don’t need “memorized” button in search mode. Please delete it so I can star vocabularies in one touch. - can’t play music background Please update and solve these minor problems. Overall great app for sure :)

One of the best I can find

It is very well organized for user convenience. I use this dictionary in various functions for example looking for Chinese letter by searching the words in Korean. It is very useful. However, the ‘Korean-English’ dictionary function, the English vocabulary listed are not correct. It is because the pronunciation in Korean are the same. I understand its limitations. So I still use conventional dictionary, paper dictionary. The other area that I feel uncomfortable and need to further improve is its pronunciation and the connotation of pronunciation. Voice pronunciation and its corresponding connotation does not match correctly. I have to verify it with paper dictionary, too. In conclusion, this dictionary is the best out of many other applications. Appreciate it very much everyday. Thanks.

Can’t trust this dictionary after finding a typo within my first 5 minutes of use. The Korean translation of “I want to eat kimbap” contains the line “먹고십어요” instead of “먹고 싶어요”. Didn’t see a way to report the typo either.

sample uses of words are often vulgar rather than useful

I searched two words which are ‘despite’ and ‘in spite of’ and this dictionary showed me correct meanings, BUT it says they are CONJUNCTIONS! Actually, they are not conjunctions. They are prepositions! What happened to this app? :( I like this app and still use it. But sometimes there are missing. I hope you improve this app and expropriate my advice. Thank you!

제가 유학을가려고 이앱을 다운로드 받았는데,진짜..글쎄 중간에 광고도 너무 많이 나오고, 조금만 어려운 단어는 나오지도 않네요.. 수정 및 업데이트 해야할것 같아요.. 제발, 광고좀 그만해요! 도서관에서 검색하고있었는데 큰소리로 스킵할수 없는 광고가 나와서 엄청 놀랐어요

It’s a good dictionary but I no longer appreciate it or enjoy using it due to the dishonesty of their business model. It seems that more and more apps on the App Store proudly proclaim “family sharing” when they are well aware that the only way to purchase their app is through an “in app” purchase. Sadly, many unethical marketing types now decide what constitutes a good business practice instead of others that might have a functional moral compass.

This app is very simple and clear also comfortable

My wife and I are moving to Korea in the summer of 2019. In addition to learning Korean, we thought it would be helpful to have a thorough Korean Dictionary. It kind of surprised me that we can’t share the upgraded version because it was upgraded in app. That is a money grab, seeing as though the upgraded version doesn’t add that much for 10 bucks. Sorry, I can’t give you more than a star for your shady practices.
